Most popular names of England in 2020

Office for National Statistics has released the most popular England baby names in 2020. Olivia and Oliver were the most popular baby names in 2020 across England and Wales. Among the newborn babies registered in 2020, 3,422 were named Olivia while 4,017 named Oliver. Olivia has been the top girl name for the past five years, while Oliver has remained at the top for eight years in a row. Along with Olivia, the next four common girl names are Amelia, Isla, Ava and Mia. Along with Oliver, the next four common boy names are George, Arthur, Noah and Muhammad.
