Most popular names of Ireland in 2021

Ireland's Central Statistics Office (CSO) has released the most popular Irish baby names in 2021. Jack remains the most popular baby name for boys, while Fiadh ousted Grace to take the most popular slot for girls. Among the newborn babies registered in 2021, 667 were named Jack while 424 named Fiadh. Jack was the most common name since 2007, except for 2016 when James took the top spot. Along with Fiadh, the next four common girl names are Grace, Emily, Sophie and Éabha. Along with Jack, the next four common boy names are Noah, James, Conor and Rían.
